School-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SATs) in Queensland allow high school students in Years 10, 11, and 12 to work and train toward a nationally recognized qualification while completing their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

Queensland Health 

  • ​Podiatrist Trainee Program

    The
    Podiatrist Trainee Program provides an opportunity for students to study towards becoming a registered podiatrist while gaining paid, hands-on experience with Queensland Health. Opportunities are available across Queensland, with suitable applicants matched with study and clinical placements as close to home as possible.​

    Applications for the 2027 program are open from 7 September to 25 September 2026.
