Welcome to Maroochydore State High School, one of the Sunshine Coast’s premium educational environments. As the principal of Maroochydore State High School, I am privileged to lead a team of highly experienced, qualified and dedicated teachers and support staff who are caring and supportive of every student and dedicated to improving students’ outcomes.
We offer high-quality schooling delivered through a range of innovative programs, interesting and modern curriculum, tailored learning pathways and engaging learning activities to develop students’ critical and creative thinking skills. Your child’s educational journey is facilitated according to their specific interests and individual learning needs, readying them for life beyond school in gainful employment or higher education.
Our school value of ‘Excellence in Education for All’ maps our path towards the pursuit of high quality outcomes for every student. Through our My Personal Best program we have a strong focus on effort, doing your best, trying hard and being good, contributing citizens. Each of these strategies revolve around each students focusing on individualised targeted areas for improvement. Students of all abilities are supported, challenged and encouraged to realise their potential.
Maroochydore State High School is well-resourced with a mixture of extensive gardens and playing fields, well-maintained older buildings and state of the art modern resources, such as the Coastal Cookery Trade Training Centre, Science facilities, Industrial Technology and Design Centre and our recently constructed purpose-built Senior Secondary Centre to support students as we enter into a new era of Senior Education (SATE).
Our team have worked hard to “raise the bar” and the outcomes that our Year 12 students have achieved are testament to their efforts.
Welcome to Maroochydore State High School – a school where students Strive, Serve, Succeed and Shine!
