Regional Director (Dr Liam Smith) and Director General (Tony Cook) School visit - Friday 26th March
Last Friday Maroochy High welcomed the Director General of Education, Mr Tony Cook, and our North Coast Regional Director, Dr Liam Smith for a school visit.
The DG and RD were accompanied on a tour of our school by our School Captains (Amelia, Tasha, Ben & Zane) and Principal, Mr David Samaha.
This was a great opportunity for department leaders to gain insights into our school and learn about the many incredible achievements in recent years.
Highlights on the tour included our guests launching water rockets with a year 8 Aerospace class and sampling food and beverages created by our senior Hospitality and Cooking students.
It was a pleasure to host the DG & RD and we thank them for giving up their time to see our great school.
