SCHOOL COUNCIL CONSTITUTION CHANGE

19/03/2015
SCHOOL COUNCIL CONSTITUTION CHANGE
Having been recognised as an Independent Public School in 2015, our school council now plays an even more significant role in the strategic direction and undertakings of our school.  At the last School Council meeting, a motion was passed to change Section 7 of our constitution which relates to membership.  Currently the constitution does not allow our school council to invite and appoint noted community representatives to the council.  The motion, which was discussed at the P&C meeting held on Monday 9 March and is to be voted on at the meeting in May, is to change Section 7 (f) from zero (0) appointed members to two (2) appointed members.
