Going the Distance 2017 24 Hr Ride

Join us in participating in our 24 hour social justice cycle challenge ‘Going the Distance’.  Maroochydore State High School has been attempting to ride the distance between Sunny Coast and Cambodia (6755 km) for the past two years, with the goal to raise $1 for every kilometre that is ridden.  To be successful in this challenge, we need all the help we can get, so you can help out by simply booking one of our 15 stationary bikes for an hour as an individual or small group during Friday 4 August or Saturday 5 August 2017.
We have endeavoured to cater to many dynamics for students, parents and community participants.  Our different sessions include:
·         Session 1 – The Launch – Friday 4 August from 3-6pm.  Start the weekend with a little exercise and finish with some coffee and cake
·         Session 2 – Over 18 – Friday 4 August from 6-10pm (18+).  Start the weekend with a little exercise and an adult beverage at our licenced school Trade Training Centre
·         Session 3 – LOCK Down – Friday 4 August 10pm until Saturday 5 August 6am.  Young people from 12-17 years of age only.  All young people interested in being involved will have to return a signed parent/guardian consent and medical form.  This LOCK down event will also coincide with our Sleep on a Card Board Box night.  Twice the amount of good!
